Welcome to Our Site!

Did you know that each year nearly 800,000 new cases of diabetes involve children people like you!  Yes You!  That is why the American Diabetes Association  along with many other health partnerships are looking to educate youth and their parents about a not yet curable but controllable and possibly preventable disease.

In 2003, approximately 710 cases of diabetes patients were children under age 18!  That number is expected to rise because kids like are just not getting enough exercise.

I don't wanna bore your right now but we'll talk about exercise Tell Me Some More About Health later.

This disease can really affect parts of your body like your eyes, nerves, kidneys, heart just to name a few.  Diabetes can also lower your resistance to infection and can slow the healing process when you're sick.

Diabetes in the United States (2002)
